Excel Hints and Tips - Duplicating Data

Microsoft Excel is used extensively across the business in all departments. There are plenty of useful shortcuts to help you be more efficient on Excel and use the software to its full ability. So through this message board we will be posting hints and tips you can use on a daily basis.

Our first tip is 'Ctrl+Enter' - when entering the same data in a number of cells, you can highlight all cells you want to input data into and press 'Ctrl+Enter' once finished, it will auto-populate with the data you have entered. This should save you time copy and pasting over and over again! It is also a good way to avoid formatting errors that can occur with copy and pasting.
