Ringway Infrastructure Services Ltd have sucessfully tendered for a Highways Term Maintenance contract for West Sussex starting in July 2018. The contract will run for 7 years, with the potential for a 3 year extension. Ringway will be taking over from Balfour Beatty that has been the incumbant since July 2011. The bids were weighted 60% cost and 40% quality, of which Ringway has 'submitted the most economically adventageous tender'. The total spending through the current highways contract was £31.3, and is estimated at £34.7m for 2017/2018.
