Plastic Roads

In collaboration with Enfield Council, Ringway Jacobs have delivered a plastic-ashphalt mix road resurfacing scheme. The press have reported the news positively in the london Metro today shown below:
The resurfacing scheme uses a mix of plastic bottles and ashphalt that is tougher and more durable that standard tarmac. The new durable material could reduce future maintenance works and helps prevent plastics ending up in landfill. TFL have now released finding these schemes.
